Mayesa is a dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free beverage made from organic cacao (the purest form of dark chocolate).
Cacao – Known as the “food of the gods” in the ancient Mayan culture, cacao has now become known as a super food. Cacao is rich in antioxidants to support our immune system and contains Theobromine which enhances blood flow to the heart, brain and other vital organs. Recommended by the Heart Association for daily consumption.
Protein – Pea protein offers a good biological value (BV) which means the actual amount of protein deposited per gram of protein absorbed is high. This protein is non-GMO, 100% plant based, gluten free, cholesterol free and highly absorbable and easy to digest.
Cinnamon – This powerhouse spice not only contributes to a great taste but helps stabilize blood sugar (helpful especially to Diabetics), has antifungal properties and fights off E. coli bacteria to contribute to our overall health.

Dairy – Many adults and children are lactose intolerant and unable to digest dairy. This often leads to stomach upset, chronic coughs and sinus and ear infections. The vast majority of milk contains high levels of antibiotics and hormones.
Soy – Once thought to be a great alternative to dairy, soy is now one of the most common food allergens among children and is growing among adults according to the MayoClinic.com. Most soy is genetically modified.
Gluten – Gluten is a compound protein that composes about 80% of the protein found in wheat. Gluten causes gut inflammation in the vast majority of consumers with 30% developing antibodies against the gluten protein triggering an immune reaction.
