IMG_5690 (1) (1)While we all know that Mayesa tastes amazing on its own, there are many ways to enjoy this premium cacao super drink! Read on for a few ideas about how to add Mayesa to your morning meal or create a refreshing afternoon snack.

Beyond Breakfast

Mayesa Sunrise Smoothie
Kick start your day with this cacao infused smoothie that tastes decadent, but doubles as a superfood powerhouse!

PREP: 3 MINS TOTAL: 3 MINS
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 banana, peeled
• 1 cup tightly-packed fresh spinach (or other super greens)
• 1 cup ice
• 1 cup of Original or Mint Mayesa
• 3 Tbsp. chia seeds (optional)
• 1 6oz container of dairy-free or regular Greek vanilla yogurt

DIRECTIONS:
Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until smooth. Serve immediately.

Makes about 3.5 cups

Remember, there is no right or wrong way to make a smoothie but the key is to keep it healthy and wholesome. Grab your favorite Mayesa flavor and pack your blender full of healthy fruits, veggies and extras!

Mayesa Morning Oats
Try this new twist on a favorite warm breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 8oz Original Mayesa
• 4 walnuts
• 7 raw almonds (tastier if left to soak in water over night)
• ½ cup steel cut oats (prepare per instructions)
• 1 tablespoon of cranberries
• 1 tablespoon of raw shredded coconut

DIRECTIONS:
Mix nuts, prepared oats and other ingredients with Mayesa and slowly heat it up on a stovetop or in the microwave. Avoid boiling.

For added flavor, try 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, or cinnamon, or 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper…more if you want a REALLY HOT MAYESA. Enjoy!

Mayesa Mid-afternoon Snacks & Treats

Mayesa Cool-time Jello
Hot afternoons call for cool, healthy treats! Make this easy-peasy jello that is sure to please both kiddos and grownups alike.

PREP: 3 MINS TOTAL: 3 MINS
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 cups Mint Mayesa
• 4 tbsp of organic gelatin
• Fresh mint (garnish)

DIRECTIONS:
Place in blender to mix thoroughly. Pour into glass bowl and place into fridge for a few hours to harden. Serve with a sprig of fresh mint for garnish.

Mayesa Frozen Pops
Need something even easier to put together for an afternoon treat? Try making your favorite Mayesa flavor into a healthy, cold popsicle. Trust us when we say these are easy and delightful!

PREP: 3 MINS TOTAL: 3 MINS
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 cartons of your favorite Mayesa flavors
• 1-2 popsicle molds

Throw these little treats in the freezer and then watch them get devoured!
