Shifting the Focus This Holiday Season: Being Thankful for Family, Friends and Doing What You Love

The company is encouraging employees, customers and the population in general to #optoutside. In other words, enjoy the season by spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Here at Mayesa, we really like this shift in focus and want our fans to get outside and enjoy all nature has to offer. We also want to take this idea a bit farther and encourage you to focus not only on being outside, but also on doing the things that you love with the people you love!

So Many Ways to Enjoy the Outdoors
Whether you’re a self-proclaimed nature lover or someone who typically prefers reading by the fire, getting outdoors is a wonderful way to spend time over the holiday season. Breathing in the fresh air is a great way to clear your mind and de-stress, and taking a brisk walk does wonders for your mood.

So, grab a family member or friend and take a walk, hike or bike ride over Thanksgiving weekend! Or if you are the adventurous type, go rock climbing, mountain biking or horseback riding!

Depending on your location, it can sometimes be difficult to enjoy the outdoors when the temperatures plummet. However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t still be active. Take a spin class with your best friend, try out that new indoor trampoline park with your kids or challenge your spouse to a race on the treadmills at the gym!

You can also take advantage of the cold weather and enjoy some well-deserved down-time. Take turns reading a favorite book aloud with your kids, go through old photo albums and scrapbooks, play your favorite board game or try that new recipe for pumpkin pie with your mom.
