Mayesa Helps Create “An Evening to Remember”

IMG_2053On March 7, 2015, two members of the Mayesa family will be dancing the night away at the 6th annual celebration of An Evening to Remember, an incredible event put on by the Special People Special Needs Foundation. Lea Renay, a Mayesa Brand Ambassador, and her two-year-old daughter, Cassia will enjoy an evening of food, dancing and fun at the Wings over the Rockies – Air and Space Museum in Denver, Colorado. As in previous years, the festivities are free of charge to those with special needs and their families. In order to put on such an event, EVERYTHING must be donated – from the tablecloths and centerpieces to the food and beverages. Mayesa is proud to have donated 1,200 cartons of our Dark Chocolate Drink for guests to enjoy. (more…)

An Amazing Story of Giving

27400322_BG3We can all get overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the busy holiday season, but all it takes is an incredible story to remind us the true meaning of the holidays. Susan Perrone, Mayesa’s Sales Manager in Arizona, has one of those stories.

Last March, Susan and her husband were traveling in Costa Rica. Susan lost her hearing aid on the floor of a hotel lobby. Luckily, it was found by Eduardo Chavarria, a local tour guide. Eduardo discovered that the hearing aid belonged to Susan, who was traveling with one of his colleague’s groups. He decided to personally drive the hearing aid to Susan, who by this point was a great distance away.
